Trend: The 70’s are Back…

It appears that the hot denim trend for 2009 is a throw back of the 70’s and celebrities alike are lovin’ it – Kate Moss, Nicole Ritchie, Victoria Beckham and The Olsen Twins. Denim label, Siwy is the version of the Seventies flare-gone-supersized.
“They’re different because of seams sewn into the flare, creating movement and bounce when you walk,” Siwy’s founder and designer Michelle Siwy tells us of the design.
“At this point in time, there are no longer denim rules,” she muses. “You don’t have to just wear skinny jeans or just flares. You can have both on full rotation in your closet.”
